Maple Leaf Kitchen Cabinets Ltd is looking for 3 Skilled Cabinetmakers to join our team ASAP.
Job Duties:
• Fabricate custom cabinets
• Study plans, specifications, or drawings of cabinets to be made
• Match Furnishing styles and materials to clients’ needs
• Select wood and hardware products for cabinets or door production
• Mark outlines or dimensions of parts on wood or wood products
• Operate various wood working machines to cut and shape wood according to specifications and measurements
• Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units
• Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
• Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products
• May clean and maintain machinery and tools to ensure a safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
• Completion Secondary School Education.
• Completion of 4 year apprenticeship program or a combination of 2-3 years of work experience in the trade and some high school or college courses in cabinetmaking.
• Trade certificate is not compulsory but an asset
Salary: $25.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Job Location: Unit #3 8311 129 Street, Surrey BC, and various locations across the Lower Mainland
May have to travel to various client locations all over lower mainland
