Job Description
Duties:
•Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods and create decorative food displays for special events such as banquets
•Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
•Create new recipes
•Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
•Plan menus
•Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
•Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
•Manage Kitchen operations
•Estimate food requirement and food and labour costs
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience is required
