Job Description
Permanent Full-time
40 hours per week
$36.00-38.00/hour

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and strategies.
Create and perform software and information system testing policies, procedures and scripts
Prepare and execute testing activities, including preparing correct tools and equipment, ensuring the test procedures are in conformance with safety policies and requirements.
Properly capture and record all test results, perform de-briefs following testing activities and escalate any issues to the senior management.
Identify, log and track all test bugs, errors, etc., present troubleshoot solutions and deliver testing status updates to other testers and team leader.
Create, organize and triage testing-related documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and risk.
Provide operational and technical support, collaborate and assist colleague to solve testing-related problems.

Qualifications and Experience
Completion of a college program in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
5+years of relevant work experience, including software testing and/or systems development.
Technically knowledgeable about testing, MS Office Suite, JavaScript, Python, or other object-oriented programming language.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Reliable, flexible, and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Positive friendly team player, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
