Position: Accounting Supervisor
MV Castillo Painting Corporation is one of the highly reputed companies in Ottawa region, Ontario specializing in residential construction, repairing of establishments like mills, hospitals, mines, industrial plans. As we are rapidly growing and in order to diversify our portfolio we urgently require one Accounting Supervisor to maintain for bookkeeping and supervising accountants. Previous experience in accounting is required.

Experience
2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials (education, certificates, diploma)
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or finance
Specific Skills Required
• Oversee the preparation of periodic financial statements and the corporate annual report
• Review and Assist accounting clerks and bookkeepers in preparation of monthly quarterly reports, for recording financial documents and forms, Administering payrolls and collecting payments on overdue accounts.
• Examine any potential cash flow problems and authorize payments for business transactions.
• Maintain work schedules and liaise with department heads to ensure that the departments are within budget.
• Ensure financial records are kept up to date with the latest transactions and changes.
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Identify and recommend updates to accounting processes and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by department head.
