Position: Construction Labourer
MV Castillo Painting Corporation is one of the highly reputed companies in Ottawa region, Ontario specializing in residential construction, repairing of establishments like mills, hospitals, mines, industrial plans. In order to diversify our portfolio and workforce, We urgently require 4 full-time construction labourers for new and ongoing development projects.. The applicant shall be a team player, reliable, accurate in his work, excellent communication skills and able to articulate the problem to the clients. The applicants shall always adhere to the ideas of clients and provide optimum input to evade ambiguity. Previous experience in construction, repairing of hardware or carpentry is an asset.

Experience
1 year to less than 2 years
Credentials (education, certificates, diploma)
• Senior Secondary high school graduate certificate
Specific Skills Required
- Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites.
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers, and glaziers in construction activities.
- Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
- Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
