Job Description
Division 9 Contractors Ltd located at 208 - 8334 128 Street, Surrey BC V3W 4G2 Canada is looking for permanent / full-time Drywall Tapers (4 positions) to be a part of their team
Job Duties:
• Removal of plasters, drywall, and panelling with help of crowbar and hammer to prepare clean surface
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound,
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife,
• Measure and install drywall panels to accommodate electrical outlets, air-conditioning units and plumbing,
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists,
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints,
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program or 2 years to less than 3 years of related experience is required.
