Walton’s is a woodworking company specializing in custom commercial and high-end residential cabinetry, built ins, and furniture in the Langley Area. Since 1986 we are dedicated to making our clients visions a reality by producing exceptional yet functional custom millwork.
Job Duties:
- Read and interpret drawings plus specifications and prepare a cut list
- Manage, build, and assemble custom millwork and furniture items
- Plan and manage production tasks to make efficient use of time utilizing equipment
- Set up and operate production equipment to produce components according to drawings
- Work with different materials including engineered wood products, veneers, and fine hardwoods
- Verify compliance of produced components with design documents
- Assemble components into completed units using fasteners, adhesives, and joinery techniques
- Prepare surfaces for finishing department
- Cooperative with other employees and participate in training apprentices
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a fulltime custom cabinetmaker/millworker
- No specific education required if experience is met
Compensation:
$28 - $35 /hour (to be negotiated) plus overtime at statutory rates and incremental raises as per company policy
Benefits available after 3-month probationary period and include group medical, dental, vision, disability benefits, and if applicable relocation loan.

Full-time, permanent position Typical hours: 07:00 – 15:30
