Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Care Aide to join our team. As a Senior Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to seniors in their daily activities, fostering a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist seniors with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the supervisor or  nurse.
Perform light housekeeping duties, ensuring a clean and organized living space for seniors.
Accompany seniors to medical appointments and assist with mobility as needed.
Engage seniors in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
First Aid & CPR
TLR
PART
Previous experience in senior care or a related field is an asset.
Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Ability to lift and move seniors with proper techniques.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
