Is seeking three (3) concrete finishers. Start date as soon as possible.
Salary $30.00 / hour. 35 hours per week. (Full-time, permanent)
Requirements:
Completion of high school (secondary school)
Be able to communicate in English (oral and written)
Experience is not required, but is an asset
The concrete finishers will perform the following job duties:
Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcements and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces
Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
Level top surfaces
Give desired finish to concrete surfaces
Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and fixtures
Apply hardening and sealing components
Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete
Estimate costs and materials
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
