Young Boy Drywall Ltd. located at Surrey, BC requires Construction Estimator with minimum High school education. Applicant should also have either a degree/ diploma/ certificate in related education or a minimum of 1year of experience in similar work settings. Pay per hour will be $34.00 per hour. This is a full-time position with 30- 40 hours of work per week.
Following are the job duties of this position:
• Assess and calculate estimated costs of materials, labor, and equipment for construction projects, based on the contract bids, quotations, and project specifications.
• Offer guidance on tender processes and engage in negotiation activities.
• Prepare, oversee, and sustain tendering procedures while implementing and managing cost monitoring and reporting systems.
• Create and update regular cost statements and forecasts throughout the project's timeline.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and oversee construction projects, crafting schedules to track and report construction progress.
