Dari Construction Ltd. , located at 1249 Lorne Street, Regina SK S4R 2J9, is currently looking for Tile Setters. This is a full-time position with minimum 30-40 hours a week. The company is offering a very competitive wage of $31.00 per hour. You will be required to work at various locations across Regina, SK . This position requires the candidate to have at least high school education. The candidate must also have at least 1 year of relevant experience or degree/diploma in the relevant field.
Following is the major set of duties but not limited to:
· Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowel.
· Set tiles in position and apply pressure to affix tiles to base.
· Align and straighten tile using levels, squares, and straightedges.
· Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
· Instruct Tile Setter Helpers.
· Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout when required.
· Install tile strips.
