Is seeking 10 long haul truck drivers. Start date as soon as possible.
Salary $24.00 / hour or 48 cents per mile, whichever is more. Full time: 40-50 hours per week.
Requirements:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience not required, and is an asset
Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Air Brakes Endorsement
Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)
Must be able to travel for extended periods, drive manual transmission vehicle, do repetitive tasks, sit for long periods, operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment, use trip recorder (on-board computer), operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, load and unload goods up to 50 lbs.
Must also be able to complete driver logbook, accident or incident reports, trip reports.
