Job Description:
Nirvana Canada is expanding its operations and looking for a full-time permanent Key Accounts Manager – Sales who will be responsible for acquiring new client accounts in the Vancouver Island Region while also managing and nurturing relationships with current key accounts that are critical to the company's revenue and growth. This role goes beyond basic sales tasks and involves a combination of strategic planning, relationship building, and problem-solving.
Duties and Responsibilities:
~ Identifying potential new markets on the Vancouver Island to benefit Nirvana’s long-term development and expand throughout other markets.
~ Developing a strong presence for the organization in the Vancouver Island region.
~ Responsible for leading the sales team and ensuring they have adequate guidance and training to successfully execute projects.
~ Prepare, manage, and discuss reports on client accounts (progress, revenue projections and strategies in place to secure the client business)
~ Responsible for fostering relationships with current and prospective clients
~ Developing initiatives to retain customer accounts and recurring sales through loyalty programs, offering exceptional service and solution focused strategies.
~ Work in collaboration with marketing, product development and IT team to better understand client needs/requirements.
~ Utilize data and analytics from other divisions to understand client behavior and preferences, enabling more targeted sales approaches.
~ Stay updated on the latest trends, activities and strategies adapted by market competitors to position Nirvana’s service offerings effectively.
~ Develop strategies to increase revenue from key accounts through expansion of business and services.
~ Negotiating service pricing, terms, and contracts while maintaining a balance between client requirements and company profitability.
~ Develop and prepare sales proposals to clients incorporating clearly defined terms and conditions.
~ Tracking contract renewals and sales retention
Qualifications and Experience:
~ A College diploma or degree in the relevant subject matter is preferred.
~ Experience in sales and marketing would be an asset.
