Title of Position: 1 Web Developer
Terms of employment: Full-time, year-round work
Responsibilities
• Understanding user interface (UI), cross-browser compatibility, and general web functionality and standards
• Utilizing web applications and programming languages to create and test applications for the website
• Writing code for the website and fixing bugs in existing projects
• Collaborating with all teams to ensure web project tasks and objectives are achieved
• Designing, developing, and testing database structures and procedures
• Implementing web designs
• Assisting client asking regarding website updates
• Perform related duties, as needed
Requirements
• Completion of bachelor’s degree or college program in a computer-related discipline such as computer science, web development, or any other related field.
• Computer Programming or as a webmaster: at least1 year (Preferred); however, we always believe in raw talent so if you are a fresh grad who is a natural, do not hesitate to apply!
o Strong knowledge of content management systems (CMS), ecommerce platforms, website builders, visual editing tools, etc.
o Experience implementing design for web and mobile
o Excellent understanding of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
o Experience with the design, management, development, and maintenance of RDMS like MySQL and MS SQL Server
o Familiarity with cross-browser testing in PC and MAC environments
o Hands-on knowledge of mobile web development standards
• Strong communication skills are a must. Both technical communication, as well as an ability to communicate technical things to non-developers (such as clients)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

COVID-19 considerations:
The regular work week is Monday-Friday. Should there be a public health announcement concerning COVID-19, members of the team will be asked to temporarily work from home full-time or to work from home on alternative days (depending on the health officer’s advice). When you are scheduled to be in the office, you’ll find that the desks and seats are spaced out and sanitizers /masks / cleaning agents are provided.
