Job Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate the work of light duty, industrial or specialized cleaners and janitors.
• Inspect locations or facilities to ensure that they meet safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and create a work schedule for housekeeping work for optimum efficiency.
• Receive payment for Specialized cleaning jobs.
• Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control.
• Arrange for additional maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain Financial records and make budget and expense estimates.
• Sometimes perform certain housekeeping tasks such as making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
