We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to come join our fast-paced, fun, and rewarding team of professionals. The ideal candidate needs to have a passion for technology and software building. We expect meticulous work ethics, attention to detail and an analytical mind to perform full lifecycle software development and operational support.
Job Duties:
1. Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain our company’s software applications, database, and integrations.
2. Assist in the formulation of program specifications and basic prototypes, and transform software designs and specifications into well-functional codes with the appropriate programming language.
3. Document current processes, review specifications, and create test trials for submitted defects involving new and modified program functions.
4. Participate in the assessment and evaluation of user requirements for the new or existing program features to determine feasibility, cost, and compatibility with the current system.
5. Test the software performance periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and performs debugging when necessary.
6. Receive feedback from end users to form a list of potential improvements and roll out constant updates with additional features to maintain user satisfaction.
7. Create accurate documentation for other team members to use as references and prepare reports of the developing process for the upper management to review.
8. Maintain an awareness of the latest new technologies and industry trends, while implementing useful techniques for the delivery of our applications and functions.
9. Communicate with the team leaders, developers, and other operation staff to identify technical difficulties and provide timely solutions to mitigate service downtime.
Qualifications:
1. A college diploma in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent working experience in a similar field is required.
2. A minimum of two years of working experience as a software developer is required.
3. Familiar with using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript as well as server-related technology such as NodeJS, Java, PHP, Python, and Ruby.
4. Past experience in professional software development with a full development life cycle in the e-commerce or logistics field is an asset.
5. Detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills.
6. Great communication skills and interpersonal skills to support an efficiency-oriented workplace.
