Position: Administrative Assistant (Permanent, Full-time – 30 hours per week)
Wage per hour: $24.62-$25.62 per hour
Overtime wage per hour: $36.93 - $38.43 (if exceeds 40 hours per week)
Benefits: 4% vacation pay and Extended medical benefits
Job duties:
• Create, input, review, and proofread a variety of documents, including correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, and reports, using machine dictation and handwritten notes.
• Manage incoming regular and electronic mail, coordinating the distribution of information within the company and with external partners.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings, ensuring effective time management.
• Maintain office supplies inventory by placing orders and overseeing stock levels.
• Respond to phone and email inquiries, directing calls and messages appropriately.
• Establish and maintain both physical and digital filing systems to ensure easy access to information.
• Welcome and guide visitors, determining their purpose of visit and directing them to the relevant person.
• Record accurate meeting minutes and prepare summaries for distribution.
• Assist in organizing conferences and events as necessary.
Qualifications:
• Completion of High School graduation
• One or more years of related experience
• Completion of one or two-year college courses in the related field is an asset
