Job Duties:
• Support the Controller in managing the company’s finances and in coordinating with external auditors.
• Process accounts receivable and payables, in-house and commission payrolls.
• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping of the company.
• Ensure that the company complied with tax and other applicable laws & regulations and adhered to company policies related to payroll and accounts payable processes.
• Process payment of invoices of Third parties in a timely manner and maintain proper data for the same.
• Reconcile Bank and Credit Card statements of the company.
• Prepare and Maintain Journal entries.
• Prepare financial statements and reports of the company based on the company’s financial records.
• Provide assistance and all financial documents to the third-party Accountant Firm to prepare the income tax return of the company.
• Prepare and file monthly and quarterly WCB and GST tax returns of the company.
• Provide financial and tax advice to the company based on financial statements and reports.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in a related field
• Able to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
