Job Description:

Nirvana Canada is looking for a full-time permanent Video Production Manager. The Video Production Manager would be in charge of seeing video projects through from concept development to post-production & delivery. Duties of a Video Production Manager include but are not limited to the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the video department.
• Manage and oversee video pre-production planning and on-site production activities for video clients.
• Work closely with internal colleagues to brief production projects, develop budgets, and drive projects to delivery.
• Deliver high quality product on time and within budget.
• Anticipate and respond to needs and requests from clients.
• Supervise additional staff during video production.
• Ensure all projects are on schedule.
• Identify best practices for video and evolve daily operations as necessary.
• Manage all aspects of postproduction, including video synchronization, duplication, and editing.
• Support the efficient operation of the postproduction process, from the arrival of original camera files through final delivery to the client.
• Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained.
• Ensure the appropriate insurance for each shoot.
• Identify best practices for video and evolve daily operations as necessary.
• Function as the video technical expert capable of answering most of the Team's questions while proposing doable solutions within budget constraints.
• Manage our customers' expectations about project objectives, deliverables, and timeframes by understanding their needs and requirements.
• Manage production schedules for 2-3 graphic designers and multiple production coordinators and supervisors.
• Analytical and decision-making skills to make business judgements.
• Assist the producer in hiring crew and cast, scouting locations, and developing the project's overall look and feel.
• Responsible for maintaining and organizing production paperwork, including crew contact lists, shot logs, insurance policies, and cast and crew agreements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A University degree or College diploma in the respective field is usually required.
• Several years of experience in the same field would be preferred.

• Work under pressure in, Fast-paced environment, with Attention to detail and Tight deadlines
