Counsel students in terms of adjusting to school environment, selecting courses, changing programs, scheduling, forming study plan and so on.
Consult and connect with students, parents, university employees regarding various student issues and concerns, and with relevant administrators regarding programs and referrals.
Counsel students and help them understand and overcome personal and educational problems that have influenced their academic performance.
Organize and hold meetings for students. Help carry out workshops on topics such as note-taking, test preparation strategies, time management skills and so on.
Develop curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses.
Recognize variations in student backgrounds, abilities and learning styles.
Interact in a friendly and patient manner with students from different cultural backgrounds, students of all levels of language proficiency.
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
