Wage Rate: $26.50 per hour (40 Hours per week)
Over Time Wage: $39.75 per hour (After 40 hours per week)
Languages: English
Education: Completion of secondary school is required;
and
Completion of a 2 or 3 year apprenticeship in the same field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum1-2 years of related experience is required.
Job Duties:
• Able to cut and trim hair according to client's choice
• Determine and suggest hair styles to clients
• Provide scalp conditioning massages
• Shampoo client’s hair and rinse hair
• Provide waving, straightening and tinting hair treatment if required
• May book appointments and perform receptionist jobs
• May order supplies and maintain them
• Train and supervise new hairstylist.
• Able to suggest hair treatment to clients and resolve their issues.
