Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, as per company contracts.
Wage rate: $21.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
Education: No education required.
Experience: No experience required. On job training will be provided.
Language: Basic Knowledge of English.
Job Duties:
• Assist trades men in all types of electrical working, constructing, renovating residential homes.
• Deliver or hold materials or tools to help tradesman and, provide assistance in other activities.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials. Select tools, equipment, and materials from storage and transport items to work site.
• Deliver electrical boxes, wires, tools, nails, glue, screws and other material on work site.
• Help cut lumber and/or paneling to specified dimensions, and drill holes in lumber for electrical wiring and boxes.
• Operate various hand and power tools
• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Assist team in completing the roughing and finish stages of all electricals work.
• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
