Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, as per company contracts.
Wage rate: $25.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
Education: High School required.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Language: Basic Knowledge of English.
Job Duties:
• Read specifications and blueprints to determine layout and calculate requirements.
• Smooth and shape surfaces using sandpaper
• Assist and advise clients to select the color schemes and wall coverings.
• Assess proper thickness and texture of paint and other materials.
• Apply paint or other material such as enamel, oil, fibreglass, metal coating or fire retardant using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• Take away loose paint and old wallpapers.
• Repair cracks and holes in walls and apply sealer.
• Paint interior and exterior walls using ladder.
• May provide cost estimates to clients.
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs).
