Dalbir Deu Farming is growing and looking to add labourers for fruit farming who will aid with planting, harvesting, and maintaining the farm equipment’s. If you have good understanding of how a farm operates and what is required for a successful growing season, then we would like to hear from you.
Job duties and Responsibilities as Farm Labourer:
1. Sort and organize fruits based on their size, type, and level of ripeness.
2. Efficiently complete assigned tasks using hand tools, ladders, and other necessary equipment.
3. Inspect the fruits carefully for any signs of disease or insects and report all the details to the supervisor.
4. Place the picked fruit in the basket and then line them with protective wrapping.
5. Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport.
6. Clean up racks, trays, and general clean-up of growing, producing, and packing areas.
7. Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment’s and tools.
8. Assist in preparing garden beds for planting.
9. Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate and harvest crops.
10.Write daily progress reports of inventory produce.
11. Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure.
12. Inspect the fruit to ensure its quality and make it ready for sale.
13. Providing nurturing agriculture crop services such as plowing, Irrigating, cultivating, spraying.
14. Other duties as assigned.
Education-
No Specific education or training required.
Experience- Field experience would be an asset.
Languages- English
