Education
No degree, certificate or diploma (Grade 12 & equivalent will be considered an asset)
Experience
Will train but experience in the agriculture industry preferable

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Set eggs and egg transfers,
2. Handle chicks and eggs,
3. Removal of chicks from hatchers and transfer of eggs from setters to hatchers as well as assisting of delivery of chicks to farms.
4. Clean and disinfect equipment using appropriate method (high pressure, scrub, mop, washer, etc.)
5. General cleaning and set up of equipment and rooms,
6. Follow safety rules and guidelines
7. Assist with after- hours checks and putting eggs in incubators as required,
8. Assist with building and equipment maintenance as necessary,
9. Other tasks as required

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work evenings.
• Ability to work in a fast – paced environment with multiple demands.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for an extended period of time
• Ability to work in a team environment.
