Asa Sushi Japanese Restaurant in Vancouver, BC is looking for qualified Line Cooks.
Conditions:
• Position: LINE COOK
• Vacancy: two (2)
• Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent
• Compensation: $16.75 to $18.25 per hour
• Work hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
• Vacation: 4% of gross salary for vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation
• Work Location: Vancouver, BC
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook Japanese food items from menu including roll, donburi, teriyaki, yakisoba, tempura, etc.
• Make adjustment to food items to accommodate customers with dietary restrictions
• Supervise and train kitchen helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Comply with food safety standards and company policies by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
• Clean kitchen and work area
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• A minimum of 1 year of commercial cooking experience
• English skills
