Title of Position: Industrial Field Service Technician
Duties:
• Inspect and perform repairs of the weighing devices on the client site;
• Assess, repair and replace any defective parts of the scales on site;
• Calibrate, replace and update proprietary software on the machines at our client sites;
• Install and evaluate various weighing and measuring devices and systems;
• Carry out testing, troubleshooting and preventative functional maintenance for a wide range of Industrial Scales, Weigh Price Labellers, Print and Apply Labellers, Print and Apply Labellers, Industrial Terminals and Slicers;
• Perform routine maintenance on the Bizerba equipment on the client site;
• Providing technical calibration services to our clients.
Duration: Permanent
Language Requirements: English
Salary: CAD $35.39 per hour
Hours: 40 Hours a week

Location of work: Based in Toronto, Ontario – potential for travel across Canada, depending on client needs.
Education: Minimum two-year College/Postsecondary Level Diploma/Certificate
Experience: Five plus years of previous relevant work experience in the field
Skills: Significant work experience with assessing and repairing weighing devices; extensive knowledge of scales and weigh price labellers and the mechanisms and software supporting them; solid familiarity of testing, calibration and meter analysis; ability to evaluate and certify weighing platforms to retail and industry standards; verified ability to find and correct faults in the weighing machines and proven experience with PC Boards, Transformers and Server Motors; demonstrated capability to repair and maintain the weighing systems.
