Responsibilities
Tasks
1.Supply and empty bed pans.
2.Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse.
3.Serve meal trays and feed patients.
4.Weigh, lift, turn and position patients.
5.Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments.
6.Make beds and maintain patients' rooms.
7.Supervise patients' exercise routines.
8.Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas.
9.Maintain inventory of supplies.
10.Bathe, dress and groom patients.
11.Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher.
12.Answer call signals.
13.Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing operative areas.
14.Accompany patients on outside recreational activities and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
