Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Management Consultant to join our dynamic team at The Poirier Group. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in business process improvement, change management, and data-driven decision-making to support clients across various industries. You will collaborate closely with senior executives to drive transformational change, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver sustainable business solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting, with experience leading complex projects that optimize business processes, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. You will be a key player in managing client relationships, guiding cross-functional teams, and utilizing data analysis to uncover insights that drive business growth and innovation.

Duties and responsibilities
• Leading process improvement initiatives, planning, analyzing, designing, presenting, and implementing end-to-end projects to drive sustainable performance improvements for clients.
• Developing high-quality client deliverables, creating innovative solutions, incorporating industry best practices, and crafting clear business cases to meet project goals and deliver client value.
• Collaborating closely with project colleagues, Engagement Leads, Directors, Partners, and C-suite stakeholders, fostering trusted relationships, and demonstrating executive presence in client engagements.
• Managing and strengthening client relationships through consistent communication, ensuring the client’s voice is central to all project activities.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments of current business processes, identifying root causes, and developing actionable improvement roadmaps, using data-driven solutions to optimize performance.
• Facilitating workshops and discussions across organizational levels, performing gap analyses, designing business plans, and creating process maps to align with client objectives.
• Developing compelling business cases and delivering persuasive communication tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring alignment with client needs and strategic goals.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in business process improvement or consulting roles with a focus on data analysis, system modelling, and operational optimization.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline is required; additional certifications in areas such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or Data Analytics would be an asset.
• Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, and System Modelling and Simulation, with demonstrated ability to apply these skills in business optimization projects.
• Strong data modeling and data analysis skills, with a proven track record of identifying trends, extracting actionable insights, and driving continuous improvements.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to C-suite executives and stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure successful execution of process improvement initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools (e.g., Power BI, Visio, PowerPoint) to create detailed reports, process maps, and presentations.
• High attention to detail, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, paired with an adaptive and results-driven approach to project execution.
• Ability to travel within North America, as approximately 30% of the role involves client engagements outside of the local area.
